Cathy lost the battle to save her foot.

g'day, Just a quick update. Where there is no circulation no healing is possible. I spent time yesterday at the hospital and again this morning with my daughter. I've been doing my best to prepare her for the loss of her foot. Today she was admitted. There is apparently no circulation to most of her left foot. This has allowed decay and infection in areas I cannot treat. The infection is spreading to her blood and the resulting blood poisoning is life threatening. They may remove from below the knee. Surgery was to be this afternoon or tonight. I just found out it is now scheduled for tomorrow. Reg http://regwhelan.info/?p=57 Last night they debrided some of her foot removed toes and a couple of hours ago she was back in surgery to have her leg removed below the knee.
