Cathy's news (2)

By Reg Whelan

Hey there everyone,

Regarding Cathy and the loss of her legs.

I have not been able to get Cathy to take Colloidal Silver for some time now but I have been able to dress with colloidal Silver but only during periods when the AcquacelAg is witheld.

I have discovered that the AquacelAg uses a Silver Citrate or citrite. It has been determined that AquacelAg allows colinization by resistant bacteria.

There is still room for research to examine the results of using Silver oxide.

I have found out that Cathy's system has been thickening her blood for some years and the thickening has been causing clotting in restriction areas of the blood delivery system inspite of the use of blood thinners.

This cut off the blood supply first to one leg and shortly after to the other leg and she lost both her legs.

So there was really nothing I could do to help save her legs.

The latest information is that Cathy's health deteriorated rather rapidly and she was admitted. The admitting Dr put me through the third degree. I reported continued infection and the original cancer and the Diabetes.

Also I reported that she had infection in the bladder and that the bladder was perforated with the original radiation. This allowed bacteria and flora from the bladder spread throught the abdomen.

That night Cathy was admitted to ICU and put on life support. next day the ICU Dr and surgical team called a family meeting and told us that there was no way they could do further operations on her bowel because of the scarring inside and other restrictions.

Basically they told us that she was going to die and that they could do nothing to help save her other than continue with the antibiotics she was on. If she was to deteriorate further they would not attempt further rescussitation. She was to be allowed to die.

Next day I went up to be with her and found that she was no longer on rescuscitation and Cathy was able to understand what was going on around her. The ICU Dr had said that he would do everying that he could so that we could have some time with her before she died.

At another family conference it was explained that little had changed and that Cathy could die unexpectedly at any time and reiterated that there would be no rescuscitation.

The next day she was to be moved to the wards as there was nothing more could be done for her in icu. She was still to be given active treatment.

When I visited two of her aunts were there and they had brought a priest with them and he was saying prayers for her.

The next day when I visited Cathy was fully with us and they had organized exercizes and the Drs are now talking about restoring blood circulation and debriding the second stump wound and re-sewing it.

I'm still really confused. What has been going on here.

I asked questions and it transpired that the young Dr who set up the initial antibiotics has included an antibiotic to control the bladder infection. This is an expensive antibiotic and because of this and previous problems with kidney breakdown Drs would not use this to fix the bladder infection.

The A&E Dr had used it in the antibiotic mix as it wouldn't make any difference she would die anyway or the antibiotic would fix her.

Ok so at the moment Cathy is not ready to die just yet but she now realizes that she is hanging on here by the mearest thin thread. She now is requesting that I make colloidal silver for her to consume. Her husband realizes that she is not as well as he had believed and he is going to make her life and that of the kids more enjoyable etc.

I can't even guess at how long she will be with us but her life will be more bearable than it has been for awhile now.

Thanks again
Reg.

Thanks Frederick and Ellen. Much appreciated.

Cathy wants a meeting with family and drs in a couple of hrs to find out what care is on offer now as there has been so much confusing information given now that she is out of ICU.

Thankfully

Thanks Suzy,
I couldn't finish the last info. Couldn't cope with it and I didn't have a clue what the hell was happening.

Thanks
Reg

It seems Cathy's life is on a roller coaster Reg and no-one knows which way it's going to turn. Thankfully she is still with you; she seems to have a wonderful fighting spirit! Whatever happens, please know that Cathy and her family, and you, are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi,
Just back from hospital meeting. They think either the antibiotics or the removal of the (super uretha?) tube from her side. They don't know what is happening or what will happen.
Ok se we aren't telling the kids that she might or might not come home again.
She still won't be admitted to icu again unless circumstances change and there is a distinct probability that something they can do may help.
Thanks
Reg

Cathy and you are in my prayers.

What a terrible situation to be in. Have you thought of suing the hospital for malpractice?

Thanks Janet,

I can't help but wonder how you and your family are. This was a good exercise for you to do .. discussing your feelings with someone you trust will open the way for you to receive “kind words” of encouragement when you need them most. I hope that all of your messages bring you the comfort you need.
All the best to you,
Laraine
